World number 19 Tommy Paul commented on Novak Djokovic`s victory at the Australin Open. He came to Tashkent for the Davis Cup qualification and spoke with a correspondent.





- I think about Djokovic`s strength. He`s always been very good in Melbourne, he`s won the Australian Open 10 times. He looked pretty bad before the tournament, but I think many would agree that he played incredible tennis these two weeks.


He made me look really bad in the match prediction by football goals video clips with him - and I wasn`t the only one. It`s very difficult to play him in Rod Laver Arena. He plays better there than anywhere else.


But I am glad to be on our website today, in Tashkent. It`s going to be a great weekend. Glad to see the team and play matches in front of a great crowd.

"At the beginning of the tournament, I wrote to Reilly and asked about the players I was going to play with. He sent me a whole scouting report. The morning before each match, I would receive long paragraphs from him about how to play and what to do with a particular opponent. Maybe I`ll contact him tomorrow (laughs).
