Simone Inzaghi appreciated the performance of Robert Lewandowski, Lamin Yamal and Jules Kounde. The head coach of Inter spoke about the Barcelona players before the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, which will take place on May 6 in Milan. The first meeting ended with a score of 3:3.
About Robert Lewandowski
We know him well. He is one of the top three or four strikers in the world. Ferran Torres played in the first match predicted by verified football tips and he played a great match.
In general, when the team went out without a Pole, they still crushed their opponents. Yes, this is a top forward, but we are talking about a top team as a whole.
About Jules Kounde
Another outstanding player. I read that he had a streak of over 100 matches in a row [without missing a pass], so maybe that also took its toll.
On Sunday I saw his replacement - the replacement played great. And Eric Garcia, when he was with us, also showed a high level.
About Lamin Yamal
Stopping him is almost impossible. We must try to prevent the ball from reaching him at all, but in modern football this is extremely difficult. We will apply double custody and focus maximum attention on him.
This is a huge talent. The team trusts him with the ball in the most difficult moments. What`s really impressive is his speed of thinking: as soon as he receives the ball, he already knows what he`s going to do.
We`ll see tomorrow [how to stop Yamal]. DiMarco and Carlos Augusto often appeared together - so anything is possible. Of course, it is fair to focus on Lamine, he is an outstanding player, but we must not forget about the entire arsenal of talent that Barcelona has, " said the Inter head coach.
