The European football club has opened a disciplinary procedure against Liverpool because of the incidents that accompanied yesterday`s Champions League 1/4-finals against Manchester City (3:0). The club is accused of four different violations of Article 16 of the UEFA Rules, according to which the club is responsible for the security of both the stadium and the outside. Two of the accusations concern Manchester City bus accidents, which were attacked by Liverpool fans, and the other two are related to pyrotechnics and thrown objects within the stadium. The case will be dealt with by the Disciplinary Commission after the final advised by questions for football tips on May 31, so any Liverpool penalties will be in force for next season.
